Mei Grows Tall

Gosh, it’s been raining buckets for a couple days, straight through the night and plodding on constantly. Rain brings out the calm in me, but I just end up sleeping all the time, when I know I should be be doing homework or research or cleaning. The Suburban League tennis tournament was canceled last night because of the weather. Our coach said it’s a big deal, just because the tournament people are pretty anal about reschedules. I love the rain, but hopefully we a get a dry spell soon.

I don’t have much to say, but here’s some good news – my latest painting is nearly complete, and I should have new glasses in a week (I feel like I spent my whole life saying those words). Who’s excited?
