Mei Grows Tall

My mum’s friend and coworker, Rachel, used to be an artist, and she’s as colourful as they come.  She shows me her old work occasionally, and it was lovely everytime. Not long ago, she brought me a suprise at the office. Two special ink pens, a drawing pad, a brush, and a minature vial to hold water – I was delighted. When you swipe water over the pen marks, it runs and makes a sort of ink wash effect. It’s wonderful!

She told me my ‘homework’ is to do at least one drawing a day. I was doing good until we took a couple of those day trips and it slipped my mind. She’s holding me to it though, so i need to catch up. Keep that on the DL.
