Mei Grows Tall

I try to avoid illness most of the year, and generally succeed. However, the bitter Ohio winds have chilled my bones, and I’m sick and sorry.

Life is ever busy. With December comes pressing deadlines, and I’m feeling the pressure. I’ve decided to apply to quite a few colleges; most all of them are due at the end of December. Also, Brandon and I are working on a home design contest that must be ready before Christmas break – that’s in just a couple weeks. I suppose I should just relax. I think from this point on, my life is going to always be filled with deadlines.

In the art scheme of things, I’m in a lull. After cranking out my last painting and Reflections piece, it’s time for a creative recharge. It makes me giggle whenever someone asks me if I’m going to art school. I don’t think I could be creative all the time. When the semester changes, it will be time for Art 3.  I cant even imagine turning out a project a week. At least, nothing to impress.
