Mei Grows Tall

I’ve only entirely switched to Linux for a short time. I really love Ultimate addition because the interface is appealing, my system is much more low maintnence, and I like the ideal of being entirely free-and-legal will my software. In fact, I like it so much that this news pains me – I am probably going to wipe my drive and start fresh again.

Ever since I first made the switch, there has been this nagging problem with streaming data that my dad and I can’t figure out. The audio/video lags when I use youtube or stream music, etc, and “lag” is friendly word for it. As a frequent skype user and general internet dweller, this really interferes with my business. It’s a pity that one irritant has ruined my set up. The problem has gotten worse over time (or at least more irritating), so now I give in. I’m going back to windows temporarily, and will probably have a dual-boot machine. Enough is enough.
