The first one we made was so un-tasty that we ended up using it as a prop to make jokes that involve the cake's brown color and soft, ploppy texture. It takes 3-4 more tbsp. of sugar and some chocolate chips to make this a decent junk food. It's best if the chips are smaller, or that they are ground up, to minimize the effects of them settling out. It's a good recipe other than that, though. Thanks for writing the journal thing. I still have like 4 Jane Austen books to read, Wuthering Heights, my fav author comes out with a new book on April 14th, 90 mins. in heaven, and the list goes on. IT's wonderful.
